Fig tarte tatin (French Cuisine)

Ingredients:

Number of persons: 6

10 fresh figs

60 g rather red sugar

40 g of butter

1 packet of vanilla sugar

1 roll of puff pastry

Preparation:

TOTAL TIME: 40 MIN

Preparation time: 20 min

Cooking time: 20 min

Step 1

Wash and remove the tail of the figs .

2nd step

Brown the butter and sugar until caramelization.

Step 3

Fry the figs for 5 minutes over medium heat, turning them over.

Step 4

Pour into a gratin dish.

Step 5

Roll out the puff pastry and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 180 ° C (thermostat 6).

Note:

For even more gluttony, can be enjoyed with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
